Parade with Floats and Bands One of the main events of the Red Poppy Festival is the parade, which includes bands and floats. The parade will take place on April 25 starting at 10 a.m. You'll see both the East View and Georgetown High School marching bands, color guards, and Georgettes. Every float and group of participants features the main hue of the event – red. Community and school organizations and local businesses are also included in the parade.
