Ford Mustang Base

Base models of the Ford Mustang come with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine that delivers an impressive 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. With it, your Ford Mustang takes just 5.1 seconds to reach 60 mph.

You can also opt for the high-performance package, which increases output to 332 horsepower. In other words, it’s one of the most powerful four-cylinder engines offered by an American automaker.

Ford Mustang GT

To take things up a notch, the Ford Mustang GT comes with a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine with port fuel direct injection. In total, it generates a whopping 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, helping this model go from zero to 60 mph in a mere 4.2 seconds.

Ford Mustang Mach1

Inside the Ford Mustang Mach1, you’ll find the same 5.0-liter Tri-VCT V8 engine found in the Ford Mustang GT. However, the engine found in this trim has been specially tuned and calibrated for speed, allowing it to produce up to 480 horsepower and go from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

Ford Mustang Shelby® GT500®

Top-of-the-line power comes standard in the Ford Mustang Shelby® GT500®. It’s powered by a 5.2-liter supercharged cross-plane crank V8 engine that churns out a staggering 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque. With it, you can accelerate to 60 mph in an astonishing 3.3 seconds. This model also boasts a top speed of 180 mph.
