2020 Ford Fusion in Georgetown, TX
The Ford Fusion is one of the few cars left in a Ford lineup that is now filled with SUVs and trucks. This sleek sedan offers something for everyone from the driver looking for basic transportation to the car lover who wants luxury accommodations. The 2020 model now has FordPass Connect on every model, and the Titanium trim now has a 6-way power-adjustable passenger seat. Here is a look at the 2020 Ford Fusion.
Trim Levels
The base Fusion is the S trim, which has 16-inch steel wheels, automatic halogen headlights, and LED taillights. The SE bumps you up to 17-inch alloy wheels and adds the option for more technology. Take a look at the SEL for LED headlights, keyless entry, and 18-inch alloy wheels, or the Titanium for even larger 19-inch alloy wheels, dual exhaust tips, and fog lights. A sunroof comes standard with the Titanium and is an available option for all of the lower trims.
Engine
The base engine under the hood of the Fusion is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 173 horsepower. It works to power the Fusion along with a six-speed automatic transmission and it comes with front-wheel drive. The sporty SE gets a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder that will deliver 181 horsepower. If you add the SE all-wheel-drive package, you get a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 240 horsepower along with the all-wheel drive. The Titanium comes with the turbo 2.0-liter that runs with a front-wheel drive.
Performance
The most fuel-efficient engine in the Fusion's lineup is the 1.5-liter turbo engine. This engine will get 23 mpg in the city and up to 34 mpg on the highway. This sedan stands out with its sporty handling and fun driving experience. It feels agile when heading around a turn, and the strong brakes give the driver confidence on any road surface.
Interior
The Fusion is a mid-size car and will comfortably fit five people. The seats are supportive, even on long road trips, and the cabin has a nice look with good quality materials. Stepping up from the base to the SE gets you power-adjustable front seats and a center armrest that folds down. The SEL adds driver-seat memory functions and heated front seats. Choose the high-end Titanium for the convenience of heated and ventilated front seats.
You'll get a 4.2-inch center display screen in the S along with Bluetooth and a USB port. Ford's SYNC 3 system comes with an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Navigation is an available option for the S trim and comes standard in the rest of the models.
Safety Features
All the Fusions have a rearview camera, and they come with the Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced driver aids. This suite includes blind-spot monitoring, rear path detection, forward collision warning with mitigation, and a lane departure warning system with lane keep assist. If you want adaptive cruise control and more technology, Co-Pilot360 Assist is an available option for any trim except the Titanium, where it comes as standard equipment.
